Joshna is a busy chef with big ideas about good food! She believes strongly in the power of food to strengthen individual lives and whole communities and is an outspoken advocate for increased engagement to build a more sustainable food system.

Angela’s work brings the ancient wisdom of Eastern Medicine to the modern world in an accessible and easy to integrate way. She combines this work with her training in Western Nutrition, Psychology, Applied Mindfulness, and Transformational Coaching to help bridge the gap between how we’re living and understanding the subtle (or not so subtle) messages of both our bodies and also nature. Her deep love of food, food culture, and understanding the ways in which food is grown, sourced, and delivered are key influences in her clinical practice and her daily life. Angela works to help people cultivate a deeper understanding and relationship with themselves, but also the world around them and she does her work with deep compassion, humour, and as much joy as possible.

What is Nourishing Change?
Nourishing Change is a movement that uses food and the wisdom of the earth to create authentic connections to ourselves, to our land, and to each other. We believe that living and eating with the seasons can radically impact our health and wellness in a way that goes beyond filling the tank. This is about joyful nourishment that starts with our minds and bodies and radiates out to the community and world around us.
What if your dinner had the potential to change the world? What if the way you snack could take better care of the land around you? We know the world is busy, and with so much to consider, figuring out how to make good choices can be overwhelming. We get it. But our current approach is taking a dangerous toll on our bodies and the planet, and it is clear that we need a new way forward.
Why are we doing this?
We're doing this because we believe true nourishment and balance live at the intersection between what we eat, what we think, and how we live.
We also believe this is the time.
This work is needed now more than ever. We all have the ability to impact not only our personal lives, but also our communities, our planet and the world around us. The future needs us all to act and live consciously, remembering that interconnectedness infuses our everyday lives. From what we put on our plates to how we engage with the world, we all have the ability to make a positive impact.

Anchored in the timeless rhythm of life, our approach to wellness and nourishment encourages deep connections with nature. Each season brings its own unique elements and energy that we experience both out in the world and inside ourselves.
Our foundation is rooted in the wisdom of earth-based medicine and it’s life lessons. We’ve broken the year up into five seasons: spring, summer, harvest, fall, and winter, and this guides everything we do.
We believe that real nourishment is holistic, focusing on the whole person and every aspect of their life: body, mind, and spirit. So we've organized our seasonal wisdom into three parts: how we eat, how we think, and how we live. And just as it does in nature, this all grows up from our roots.
We believe food can not only inspire and delight but also help us to understand the unique messages our body is sending out. These messages tell the story about the state of our health and well-being.
Also, this new relationship between a doctor and a chef has created the possibility for healthful foods to also be a delicious pleasure to eat. In a world that pays increasing amounts of attention to both food, and health care promotion, the idea of a chef and a doctor collaborating in a way that promotes good health and joyful, hearty indulgence is a pioneering vision.
